BTC Test Research Project

Overview

The CIn/BTC Research Project investigates existing problems of Motorola mobile phones testing process. The group researches methods and tools to improve the testing process in the Mobile Devices Test Organization. Work in progress as well as opportunities for new research are presented and discussed in monthly meetings, where issues and new ideas are introduced. In addition, the group sets up annual workshops, in which research results are presented. If you are interested in participating, please contact us.

Tools

Among other results, this project develops Tools. These tools aim to improve the BTC testing process, including the process of regression, integration, and automation teams. To see more about Tools, click here.

Current Research

Our research is related to software validation, verification and testing. So, it includes test generation and automation, model checking, product lines techniques for testing artifacts, test execution estimation, among others. You can find detailed information about our research here.

Publications

We submit papers to conferences worldwide. This practice gives us the opportunity to get feedback of our work from several specialists and contact other research groups. You can find the complete list of our publications here.

Team

The research project team is composed of Ph.D. students and M.Sc. students, which are advised by professors from the Federal University of Pernambuco and the Federal University of Campina Grande. Workshops

We set up annual workshops, in which our research projects are presented. Engineers from the other BTC centres are invited to attend and also to present their work. So far, three workshops have been organized. For further information about the workshop contents, click here.
