Getting expired domains for PR, does it still work?

Ive done some tests over the past few months about expiring domains with PR to see if it's worth your while to find these expired and removed domains.

My idea why I would like to use expired domains could be the idea that old domains are popular than new domains, and to obtain quick PR.

So I attempted to find deleted domains with PR that I can enroll. One characteristic of areas I was looking for was that the site still had a, and it was still shown in google.

I won't be mentioning the specific domains here as I want to handle the outcomes and stop folks from making backlinks to these domains.

I registered about 4 areas, some have PR2 and PR3. Some have a few pages found, some have a few thousand. I also bought several new domains for my new projects. Browse here at Search Bandit SEO: ppc affiliate programs to read why to mull over it.

I discovered that google rarely trips these areas so I need to prime it but with some fresh backlinks. After making some backlinks to these domains, two domains sooner or later lost their PR. Those two domains have just a few pages indexed in google. In one single domain, I did a 301 permanent direct to the new index page. That website maintained its PR. One important big difference this domain has set alongside the other two is that this domain has 1000s of pages indexed in google.

In yet another domain, used to do a 301 and direct it to a fresh domain. Visit better than linklicious to explore where to do it. The result is that the new domain got indexed quicker and more pages were indexed compared to another new domain I listed at once. However, PR was down to 0.

There is also an instance where I did so a 301 direct from an old deleted website with PR and never got any benefit from it.

In summary, there's still contradictory results on whether buying deleted/expired domains. Some works, some dont. To read additional information, please consider looking at: backlinks indexer. But, what seem to work is that

a. Old remove domains does incorporate traffic from existing backlinks. If the old area has a lot of backlinks, some traffic does be still generated by it.

T. Other search-engines such as aol and bing don't appear to have an biases against expired/deleted domains..
